Wood Briquettes

Milled woodwork refuse compressed into equiforms. Ecofriendly type of solid fuels. Briquettes do not contain any additives or inclusions and hold their shape by means of lignin which is a natural polymeric compound contained in the plant by-product cells. This particular type of eco-fuel has high heat capacity value, has long and smooth burning. Thus it produces less smoke and soot than conventional stove wood. Wood briquettes take up less storing space, but require certain maintenance conditions, since they are quite sensitive to moisture changes. Wood briquettes can come in three basic forms: pini-kay (long bars of square or hexagonal section shape), RUF (brick) and Nestro (cylinder). They also differ in their full density, which is directly related to the heat capacity value.
